A public hearing on the millage rate will be held at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers. An additional public hearing will be held in conjunction with the special called meeting at 7 p.m. on July 21.

The proposed millage rate for 2016 is 4.957 and does not constitute a tax increase.

Residential sanitation fees will remain $192 per year, and commercial sanitation fees for businesses which do not require a dumpster will remain at $240 per year. Both city taxes and sanitation charges are billed with the Gwinnett County property tax notices.
