Dacula has resumed city operations. The city’s municipal court will resume in-person hearings at 1:30 p.m. June 16.

Following guidelines from the Chief Justice, court schedules are being modified to limit the number of people in the building. All court staff and defendants will be required to wear face masks. The courtroom, common areas and lobby of city hall will be marked to reflect 6-foot social distancing.

As the public enters the building, they will have their temperatures taken and be required to complete a written questionnaire regarding COVID-19 health matters. The written questionnaire can be completed prior to arriving at the court.

For anyone who might feel uncomfortable attending their court hearing or who is not feeling well, in most cases, fines may be paid online or by phone prior to the scheduled court date.
