On Monday, Forsyth County authorities released the name of a woman killed in a single-vehicle wreck on Friday night.

Lori A. Vlasic, 44, of Cumming, was northbound on Castleberry Road near Wade Valley Road when she lost control of her 1997 Infiniti, according to a statement from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

The Infiniti went into a ditch and overturned, coming to rest on its top. Vlasic, who was alone in the car, was wearing a seat belt, but died at the scene.

Investigators blamed the crash on excessive speed.
