A Forsyth County man was arrested Monday and charged with the weekend burglary of a drug store in downtown Cumming.

The burglary happened early Saturday morning at Goodson's Drugs on West Maple Street.

Cumming police Sgt. Bryan Zimbardi said Christopher Moran "damaged and compromised an exterior door, and stole a large amount of controlled prescription medications."

Moran was arrested without incident Monday and charged with burglary and fraudulently obtaining a controlled substance by theft, Zimbardi said.
