Citing the ongoing COVID-19 breakout, the Cumming Recreation & Parks Department announced Monday that it has extended its suspension of all programs and activities through Sunday, April 12.

“The Recreation Department will announce updated plans sometime during the week of April 5-11,” the city said. “Programs and activities will resume from the point in their schedules that they were interrupted after the city of Cumming has deemed it safe to return.”

Reservations for future sessions of gymnastics, dance, drama and art programs and classes are postponed until the current situation is resolved. FitPasses will be frozen at their current status and reinstated when programs resume.

All facility rentals during the suspension period will be canceled, and no new rentals will be accepted for dates earlier than May 18. Information: https://bit.ly/3dmUYbL
