A car crashed into a senior center Monday morning in Smyrna.

According to police, a female driver in her 80s drove her Lexus into the back of the Wolfe Adult Center shortly before 10 a.m.

Police believe that the woman hit the gas instead of the brakes, driving through a back wall, a meeting room, a small hallway and a workout room.

Police say "miraculously," no one was injured in the crash.

Had the crash happened Tuesday morning, more than 100 people would have been in the meeting room for a Kiwanis event, police said.
