Two crashes on the Downtown Connector caused heavy delays in both directions early Friday.

A southbound crash temporarily blocked all lanes at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and led to delays back to 17th Street in Midtown, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

A northbound crash near I-20 also caused delays at Langford Parkway and temporarily closed all lanes.

The crash delays had cleared by 8:40 a.m., leaving only normal rush hour traffic.
