A man and woman suffered minor injuries early Tuesday when shots were fired into their vehicle from another car in Midtown, police said.
Atlanta police Capt. Van Hobbs told the AJC that the victims had been at the Sutra Lounge on Crescent Avenue, and left the club after getting into an argument with another party.
Near the intersection of Peachtree and 14th streets, a black BMW pulled up beside the victims, and someone inside the BMW began shooting at them, Hobbs said.
“The gentleman was struck in the hand and the female was grazed across the face,” Hobbs said. “They went down 14th Street to get away, and they had an accident at Techwood and 14th.”
The BMW made a left on Techwood Drive heading toward the Downtown Connector, Hobbs said.
He said the victims were both taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
