County’s first baby of 2015 born at Piedmont Henry

Michael Mabry was the first baby born in 2015 in Henry County, arriving Jan. 1 at 1:23 a.m. at Piedmont Henry Hospital. His parents are Arthur “Trey” Mabry and Wynter Maness of McDonough, and he has two older sisters, five-year-old Madison and three-year-old Morgan. The hospital presented his parents with a welcome basket, and Michael received a $500 certificate to deposit into a savings account at Delta Community Credit Union. Michael was the first baby born in 2015 at any of the Piedmont hospitals. About 2,000 babies were born at Piedmont Henry in 2014.
