Georgia Justice Project host MLK celebration
The Georgia Justice Project will host its inaugural MLK Day Community Supper and Recognition Event 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at 438 Edgewood Avenue SE, Atlanta.
Guests will enjoy fellowship and food, and a discussion on “Intersections with Criminal Justice.” Volunteers from the Client Visitation Program will be recognized.

The Suwanee Police Department offers an eight-week Citizens Police Academy program 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Feb. 19 at the Police Training Center, 2966 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road.

Fayette schedules stormwater meetings
The Fayette County Board of Commissioners has scheduled three town hall meetings to discuss the recent Stormwater Utility charges for residents in the unincorporated areas of the county.
