Gwinnett Commissioners approved $1,168,504 Tuesday for Department of Transportation projects with Moreland Altobelli Associates Inc. The projects range from construction inspections to right of way acquisitions and utility coordination for more than 25 projects around the county.

One of the more significant projects includes construction inspection, utility coordination and right of way acquisition on Hog Mountain Road in Dacula for completion of the existing sidewalk to Little Mulberry Park for $60,446.

These projects are funded 49 percent by the 2009 SPLOST program and 51 percent by the 2014 SPLOST program.
