Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners approved a $1,695,753 contract Tuesday for a force main replacement at the Wolf Creek Pump Station in Lawrenceville.

The project will replace approximately 8,200 lineal feet of 16-inch ductile iron pipe that will contain sanitary sewage from the Wolf Creek Plant to a gravity interceptor discharging into the Crooked Creek Water Reclamation Facility for treatment. The new force main will replace a more than 30 year old 14-inch force main experiencing corrosion. The contract goes to lowest bidder John D. Stephens Inc.
