Dunwoody Councilman Robert Wittenstein took time during Monday’s council meeting to retract a comment he made earlier in the month. A couple of weeks ago, during a heated discussion about the city’s 911 services, the councilman said staying with DeKalb County’s E911 dispatch service was equivalent to playing Russian roulette. Monday he acknowledged that remark was a bit dramatic, and said he wanted to retract the statement. “It was definitely an overstatement of the facts,” he said.
