The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Allatoona Lake Project office will recycle Christmas trees to improve fishing spots on the lake. Trees will be anchored to concrete structures underwater to improve fish habitats near recreation areas. Drop-off sites, starting Friday, are at Galt’s Ferry and Victoria Day Use areas, Payne Boat Ramp, Bethany Bridge and Blockhouse 1 Fishing Jetties and Sweetwater Campground overflow parking area.
