DeKalb County police have arrested a man accused of raping a woman after kidnapping her from a popular fast-food restaurant in the Lithonia area and raping her outside a MARTA station.
Eddie Will Davis IV, a 34-year-old homeless man, is accused of abducting the victim Saturday from Bojangles' Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits at 2695 Panola Road and forcing her to drive to a parking lot outside the Indian Creek MARTA Station, according to warrants released Monday.
He raped her "after brandishing a knife and telling her that if she did everything he told her to do, she would live to see her children," the documents allege.
The police department declined to say if the victim knew the suspect. "Unfortunately we cannot say anything that might aid in the identification of the victim," Maj. Stephen Fore said.
The man, who remains held in the county jail, is accused of stealing $60 from the woman's purse at the Kensington MARTA station, where he also took her during the ordeal, according to the warrants.
Police have released no further information.
A message left at the restaurant wasn't immediately returned Monday.
