Gwinnett County police are searching for a woman who used someone else’s identity to withdraw $7,200 from a Lawrenceville Wells Fargo branch.

The woman, captured on security cameras, made the withdrawals at the branch at 3065 Lawrenceville Highway. She went to the bank to take out money using a fake Pennsylvania driver’s license and the victim’s credit card multiple times between October 22 and October 28, 2018. The department first publicized the case on Friday, March 29, 2019.

No detailed description was given of the woman, but the above photos were provided.

The victim, a Gwinnett County woman, also told police that someone had used her Social Security number to open a credit card. The identity thief racked up a $11,000 balance, according to a police report.

Anyone with information about this case, including the suspect’s identity, is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
