Gwinnett County police are trying to identify a suspect in car break-ins across metro Atlanta.

The suspect has also been identified in cases in Cobb County, Peachtree City and Dawson County, according to a Gwinnett County Police Department press release.

The suspect has broken into cars parked at libraries, parks and medical facilities, stealing credit cards and using those cards to purchase gift cards at nearby stores. The thefts took place between Dec. 29 and March 1.

The suspect appears to be wearing the same clothes in multiple incidents, and a female person of interest was seen with the suspect during the March 1 Dawson County case, police said. The male suspect has been seen using a silver SUV in multiple cases.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
