Gwinnett County police are searching for a man who assaulted employees at a Norcross laundromat.

Gwinnett County police are looking for a “young man” who assaulted two laundromat employees after they told him they were not hiring.

The incident, caught on surveillance camera, occurred March 6. The suspect, believed to be between 16 and 19 years old, entered the laundromat on Indian Trail Lilburn Road in Norcross around 3 p.m. and asked about getting a job at the business, according to police. After an employee told the suspect they were not hiring, he became “irritated,” police said.

The suspect attempted to enter doors marked “employees only” and physically pushed two workers at the laundromat, according to the police report. The suspect then grabbed a change jar and started running, with the employees following him, police said. The employees were able to get the jar back, with the change falling to the floor. The suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described as being between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7-inches tall, weighing between 150 and 160 lbs. and having black hair.
