Police are looking for a man who appeared to have a shotgun on a northwest Atlanta school’s campus Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to Kindezi School in the 1800 block of Detroit Avenue after a teacher advised administrators that she saw a man crossing school property with what appeared to be a shotgun. The man did not speak to or approach anyone, police said. The charter school and the surrounding area were searched, but no suspect was found.

Surveillance cameras recorded the suspect on school grounds, and police posted the footage on YouTube.

The suspect is described as a black male who was wearing khaki pants, a dark shirt and a straw hat that came to a point at the top with what appeared to be a white shirt hanging down his back, according to the police incident report. He also had a green bag on his side.

Anyone with information on the case should call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477 or investigators at 404-802-2000.
