Atlanta police are searching for a suspect who smashed a woman’s car window then stole her book bag near a popular Atlanta dog park last week.

According to the the police report, the woman arrived at Fetch Park & Ice House about 5:30 p.m on Aug. 28. She returned to her car two hours later and noticed the back driver’s side rear window had been shattered.

Soon after, she noticed her book bag and her books were gone, according to the report.

The dog park is located on 520 Daniel St.; the woman parked in a lot on 534 Decatur St.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect entering the parking lot on a motorcycle and looking around at cars before smashing the woman’s window and taking her book bag.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477 or submit tips online at www.stopcrimeatl.org. Tipsters can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
