Three massage parlor employees were arrested in Peachtree Corners after an undercover police officer was offered “an act of prostitution,” a police report says.

Three women, all from Queens, New York, were charged with misdemeanors related to prostitution and unlicensed massage therapy.

The officer, a member of the Gwinnett County Police Department’s vice unit, went to the Chalet Spa on Holcomb Bridge Road on April 18 for a “compliance check.” A woman greeted the officer, who paid for a massage and was led to a private room.

Another woman said there would be “no massage” and offered an “act of prostitution” to the officer, according to the report. The officer gave the woman money and, soon after, more officers entered the building.

The woman who greeted the officer and the woman who allegedly offered the act of prostitution were both arrested. Police found another woman giving a massage in another private room and arrested her as well, the report said.

The woman giving the massage was charged with unlicensed massage therapy. The woman who allegedly propositioned the officer was charged with prostitution, keeping a place of prostitution, unlicensed massage therapy and giving massages in a place for lewdness/prostitution/assignation or masturbation for hire. The woman who greeted the officer was charged with pandering and keeping a place of prostitution.

All three women were transported to the Gwinnett County Detention Center and later released on bond.

A woman who answered the phone at Chalet Spa said a manager was not available and she did not know when one would be in over the next few days. She declined to identify herself and said she was unaware of the arrests.

The vice unit regularly conducts similar “compliance checks.” A department spokesman could not elaborate on the unit’s operations.
