Cops: Man steals cards from car at Gwinnett park, uses them at Walmart

Gwinnett County police believe this man stole credit and debit cards from a car at Little Mulberrry Park and used them at a nearby Walmart.

Gwinnett County police are searching for a man who they believe stole credit and debit cards from a car at a Dacula park and used them at a nearby Walmart.

The car was parked at Little Mulberry Park in Dacula on May 16 when it was broken into. The suspect allegedly stole multiple credit cards, debit cards and cash.

Soon after the break-in, the stolen cards were used to purchase multiple gift cards at the Walmart on Sardis Church Road in Buford, which is about three miles from the park. The suspect was seen on surveillance footage.

Police described the suspect as a man between 20 and 30 years old with a “thin build.”

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
