The victim and a woman were in the drive-thru lane around 6 a.m. on Feb. 17 when they saw a man walking “suspiciously” in the McDonald’s parking lot. The man approached the car and told the two people to hand over their belongings, then shot the victim in the leg. The man ran away on foot, the woman told Duluth police.

When police arrived, the victim was clutching his thigh, where he had been shot. He was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville. His injuries were not life-threatening.

The suspect was described to police as a skinny, tall man who was wearing a gray hoodie with the hood pulled up, covering a hat. Anyone with information about this case can call the Duluth Police Department at 770-476-4151.
