Gwinnett County police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a woman at gunpoint in the parking lot of a Snellville Walmart at 2 a.m.

The woman was loading items into her car in the parking lot of the Walmart at 3435 Centerville Highway on April 10. The suspect walked up to her, pointed a gun and demanded she hand over her belongings, according to police.

The woman complied with the suspect’s orders and he fled on foot. Shortly after the robbery, police used a K9 to track the suspect’s path and recovered most of the woman’s belongings, but did not find the suspect.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
