Police are looking for a man who allegedly shot at a group of friends outside an Atlanta convenience store earlier this month.

The friends were discussing a Georgia Tech football game on Sept. 5 when a man "began interjecting himself into their conversation," according to police and Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta.

After someone told the man the group wasn’t interested in speaking with him, an argument began and the suspect starting firing with a “small assault rifle-type gun,” Crime Stoppers said.

A victim was shot once in the abdomen, according to the organization.

The store is located at 2460 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect may call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. All callers remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 if the tip leads to an arrest.
