Police say a fight between rival gangs early Sunday led to the shooting of a 21-year-old Gwinnett County woman.

The fracas started at Liquid Ultra Lounge on Holcomb Bridge Road in Norcross, Gwinnett police said, and continued at a nearby gas station. It didn’t stop there, as one of the groups followed the other to a location off Phil Niekro Parkway around 4:15 a.m.

According to a police statement, “An unknown member of one of the groups produced a gun and fired multiple shots,” striking Malia Arianne Ross Robinson, who died after being transported to a local hospital.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact Gwinnett police at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-557-8477.
