A Clayton County mother is accused of punching another parent on a school bus, Channel 2 Action News is reporting.

Rebecca Hines faces charges of battery and disrupting a public school after punching a parent Wednesday. Her boyfriend and other parents who gathered at the school bus stop told Channel 2 that Hines actually was trying to be a peacemaker and that the other parent should be charged as well.

According to Channel 2, a group of parents met at a school bus stop Wednesday because their kids had previously fought -- and that Hines' 11-year-old daughter was attacked the day before.
