A burglary crew that first struck in Norcross has hit businesses across Gwinnett and DeKalb counties.

A three-man burglary crew has been targeting businesses across Gwinnett and DeKalb counties, Gwinnett County police said.

The group initially stole $76,000 in cash and property from three Norcross businesses in a 45-minute crime spree on June 12. Since then, Gwinnett County police believe they have committed burglaries in seven jurisdictions including Lilburn, Norcross, Snellville, Brookhaven, Chamblee and DeKalb County.

One of those burglaries occurred on the night of June 27 in unincorporated Duluth, Gwinnett County police said. The trio stole $4,600 in cell phones and $3,800 in cash from a cell phone store, causing “hundreds of dollars of damage” in the break-in, police said.

In all burglaries attributed to the group, the same car has been used: a gray, silver or light blue early 2000s model BMW four-door sedan. The men have previously been described as being in their late teens or early 20s with slim builds.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
