Atlanta police are searching for the men who allegedly stole expensive items out of a woman’s car.

The victim was returning to her car at a BP gas station at 3004 Piedmont Road on Nov. 15 around 1:30 a.m. to find two men inside it, according to an incident report. She began yelling and the men apparently ran to a waiting dark blue car and fled the location.

The men took the woman’s white Louis Vuitton handbag which had two iPhones, credit cards and IDs and her “push-to-start car keys,” she told police. She disabled her car by removing the battery in case the men came back for the car.

Investigators have obtained video of a person they believe may be related to this theft and are looking for assistance in identifying him. APD did not immediately respond Friday to a question about why he is a person of interest.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect may call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. All callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 if their tip leads to an arrest.
