Conyers police are seeking an Atlanta man who allegedly shot another man in a car multiple times Thursday.

Lt. Jackie Dunn of the Conyers Police Department identified the suspect as Marcus Mandela Campbell, 19. He is charged with aggravated assault with other charges pending, Dunn added.

Dunn said police responded to the Meadows Crossing apartments Monday morning on Irwin Bridge Road, where a 21-year-old man said he had been shot inside his car.

The unidentified victim was flown by helicopter to Atlanta Medical Center.

A juvenile who was in the car with the victim was not injured. Dunn said the victim apparently knew his attacker and that robbery was believed to be the motive.
