Two construction workers were injured Thursday afternoon in a partial building collapse in Sandy Springs.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. on on Crestline Drive at a hotel under construction, police said.

Sandy Springs police and firefighters responded to the scene.

The employees were working on the second level of a parking deck when the concrete underneath them collapsed and they fell 15 to 20 feet, Sgt. Ron Momon with Sandy Springs police told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The workers were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital.

Their injuries reportedly are minor to moderate, police told 95.5 FM and AM 750 News/Talk WSB.

The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration will investigate, Momon said.
