Construction at the intersection of U.S. Highway 78 and Oak Road in Snellville will disrupt traffic for months. Drivers are asked to use caution near the project and use alternative routes when possible. Construction barrels, signage and other indicators will alert drivers of the construction taking place 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Lane closures are expected.

The work is part of the city’s Towne Green renovations in front of City Hall at 2342 Oak Road. Renovations will upgrade the space used for festivals and the farmers’ market. The Towne Green project is on schedule to be complete by May 1.
