The Peachtree Corners pedestrian bridge between The Forum shopping center and the city’s Town Center is currently on schedule for completion sometime this fall.

Construction will require the closure of traffic over two weekends along Ga. 141/Peachtree Parkway in the coming weeks. During the closures, Medlock Bridge Road and Peachtree Corners Circle will be used as detours for both northbound and southbound traffic.

Barring any weather delays, the first detour is scheduled to take place at 9 p.m. Friday, June 5 through 5 a.m. Monday, June 8 for installation of the bridge span. The second detour will take place beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, June 12 through 5 a.m. Monday, June 15. This road closure will be needed to pour the bridge deck and install the pedestrian panels.

Message boards with the latest detour schedules will be installed by May 22.
