Viorel Mesca had read a news article a long time ago about an angler catching an extremely large catfish in Florida. While in Romania, he went fishing at Tancabesti Lake near Romania’s capital city Bucuresti. He said the fish weighed in at 93 kg which is about 205 pounds.
