Marietta Board of Education members are expected to discuss spending $79,550 for Scholastic Common Core Code X curriculum during their 7 p.m. meeting tonight at the Marietta City Schools Administrative Offices, 250 Howard St.

This English Language Arts curriculum would be for middle grades 6-8.

The lessons include daily strategies and teacher modeling to support English-language learners, struggling readers, students with disabilities and advanced learners.
