Friday is the deadline for input by Cobb County residents on how to involve them in updating Cobb’s Comprehensive Plan, which will be known as “Cobb 2040 - Vision for a New Era.”
A draft of the 38-page public involvement plan may be reviewed at CobbCounty.org/images/documents/comm-dev/homepage/Cobb2040PlanDevelopmentFinalDraft.pdf.
Also, any suggestions that could make this process easier and more efficient may be emailed to CommDevPlanning@CobbCounty.org or submitted by the online link.
Once the comment period ends on Friday, edits will be made to the guide and the Cobb Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing before considering approval of the public involvement plan, Dana R. Johnson, deputy director of Cobb’s Community Development Agency wrote to the AJC Saturday in an email.
The Comprehensive Plan’s final update will not be considered until 2017, Johnson added.
