When Marietta's first Cook Out did not open in the immediate vicinity of the famed Big Chicken, it kind of felt like a missed opportunity.

Alas, the fast food burger chain is slated to rectify that. A location dubbed Cook Out Big Chicken is coming soon to 9 Cobb Parkway, as shown on the Cook Out website.

Cook Out did not immediately respond to a request for an opening timeline.

There is also a location coming to Snellville, in addition to three other locations throughout Georgia.
