College Park names new interim police chief
College Park announced Wednesday that Ron Fears is the city’s new interim police chief.
Fears replaces Tom Kuzniacki, who requested a return to daily operations as serving 13 months as interim chief.
Fears is a police captain who led starting the department’s special operations team. He also worked in the criminal investigative division, or detective unit.
Fears will serve as the city continues a national search for a new chief.
