The city of College Park recently moved to a new online and telephone payment processing service with technology firm Acculynk. The conversions and applicable systems integrations have been successfully completed, according to city administration.

The company will eventually provide additional applications including mobile device payments, electronic billing and text alerts.

Subsequently, the contract with Paymentus which was originally executed in 2009 will be terminated effective Sept. 26.

The city had been operating on its fifth automatic renewal with the company.
