The city of College Park has announced the availability of new bike racks throughout the city. The racks are the city’s effort to emphasize green initiatives and clean air practices. Bike racks are now available along Main Street, around City Hall and the Public Safety Complex on College Street.

In an effort to promote sustainability, College Park’s Economic Development team, lead by Director Artie Jones, have recently begun developing a storm water utility, opened an electric car charging station and installed street drains containing filters to clean storm water runoff, some of which is eventually re-purposed to irrigate land around the Georgia International Convention Center.
