Cobb transit legislation to be discussed

Cobb residents are invited by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners to discuss transit legislation at 1:30 p.m. March 12 in the BOC Room, second floor, 100 Cherokee St., Marietta.

The commissioners will hold the work session to discuss Senate Bill 386, House Bill 930 and the formation of a committee to represent community and business concerns about transit.

Also, methods will be discussed to communicate these concerns to the General Assembly for inclusion in the final legislation.

Public comments will be welcome during the work session.
