A neighborhood road in Marietta is shut down as crews work, Cobb County officials said Tuesday.

Mozelle Drive between Sandy Plains Road and Pinkney Drive will be closed for an unknown amount of time, Cobb commissioner JoAnn Birrell told constituents in an email.

She said the contractor may have to resume the job Wednesday morning if the repairs can’t be completed today.

The closure is being caused by a storm drain repair, she said.
