Just in time for the June 17 deadline for appealing residential notices, Cobb County’s Tax Assessor has a new website.

New search tools on the website will give taxpayers access to information about real estate sales, values and maps, according to a June 10 county statement.

The site is redesigned to help Cobb residents who think their home’s assessment is too high or who are curious about house sales in their part of Cobb County.

In a new video, Chief Deputy Appraiser Sean Kelly explains some of the website’s features and how it can help Cobb residents determine if their property’s assessed value is correct.
