Training and changes are being offered by the Cobb County Superior Court.

The court’s Clerk Rebecca Keaton and the Georgia Superior Court Clerks’ Cooperative Authority will host a free notary training session from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Jury Assembly Room, Cobb County Superior Courthouse, 70 Haynes St., Marietta.

This training workshop is highly recommended for anyone who currently is a Notary Public in Georgia or would like to become one.

This office also announces the expansion of its hours as a Passport Acceptance Facility which has been authorized by the U.S. Department of State to accept new passport applications since 2017.

Those new hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays and other weekdays by appointment only at 736 Whitlock Ave., Suite 300, Marietta.
