Cobb superintendent search continues

The Cobb school board will hold a closed meeting at 9 a.m. Friday to discuss the hiring of a new superintendent. The district, which is Georgia's second largest, is looking for a replacement for Fred Sanderson, who retires at the end of this school year. An attorney for the school board would not say whether the board was close to making a final decision.
