Cobb community input is requested at meetings in April and May on JOSH, a small area plan centered on the intersection of Johnson Ferry and Shallowford roads.

JOSH will provide guidance to the Cobb County Board of Commissioners about policy and decisions, regarding future land use, design guidelines, stormwater management, parks, green space and transportation.

Residents are asked to define problems and concerns and identify their desires for the future of the JOSH community at 7-9 p.m. April 16 and May 8 at Chestnut Ridge Christian Church, 2663 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta.

In response to current and anticipated development/redevelopment trends in the area, the JOSH plan will supplement the Cobb 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
