Cobb sets candidate qualifying fees

County candidate qualifying fees were set Jan. 9 by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners to meet the Feb. 1 deadline for publication by Cobb Elections Director Janine Eveler.

Qualifying fees are three percent of the total gross salary of the office that was paid last year, including supplements.

All four-year terms, county offices to be decided this year - from most expensive to least - include:

State Court Judge / Post 5 incumbent David Darden / $181,950.73 salary / qualifying fee $5,458.52
