Nominations are needed for the Creating Community Awards by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners and the Cobb Community Relations Council to recognize those who have been inspirations for the rest of the community.

Nominees may be an individual, team, organization or business that has included Cobb’s diverse communities.

Diversity examples are race/ethnicity, age/generational, religions, disabled or gender.

An independent committee will be formed to choose one recipient from each commission district.

The deadline for nominations is Feb. 15.

Nominations should be emailed to ccrc393@gmail.com.

Nomination forms and instructions are available on the Community Relations Council website at CobbCounty.org/ccrc.

The annual Creating Community Awards Dinner will be held on March 15 to honor nominees and award recipients.
