Correction: Cobb school year will begin July 31

CORRECTION: A previous version of this story included an incorrect start date for Cobb County schools.

The next school year for the Cobb County School District will begin Monday, July 31.

This year’s starting date was Aug. 1 for Cobb public schools.

The starting date for Marietta City Schools will be Aug. 3 - as it was for this present academic year.
