A change in a lease agreement with Comcast Cable Communications will yield more income to the Cobb County School District. This change was approved recently by the Cobb County Board of Education for a cell phone tower at Still Elementary School in Powder Springs. The amendment provides for a renewal of the existing lease, including a new five-year period and an option to renew for an additional five years. Current revenue for this lease is $9,000 annually.

Future revenue from December 2016 to December 2021 will be nearly $45,493 annually and, from January 2022 to December 2027, almost $50,042 annually. That 10-year total will be $477,675. This change will increase the revenue from Comcast to the similar level of current cell tower contracts.
